Come and meet us!

Ben & Kathleen

Ben is the base leader here at UofN Pailin. He has a heart for discipling the Khmer people and raising up the next generation to run after God. He enjoys puzzles, soccer, and knows how to keep things fun! Ben is married to Kathleen, and they have three children! She has a heart that is constantly seeking to be more like Jesus. She works and leads the staff in cleaning and making our base more beautiful with different housework projects. She sees beauty in all things and is passionate about bringing the beauty she sees in others to the light. She is gifted in art, teaching, worship, and discipleship.

Pov

This is Pov! Pov is our DTS leader. He has a big heart for building up and discipling young leaders here in Pailin. God has given him eyes to see the importance of the body of Christ working together in unity and wholeness to reach their community and beyond for Christ. He is a gifted worshiper and teacher. He loves playing games, wowing newcomers with card tricks, and dancing.

SOkea & Srey Len

Sokea and Srey Len are awesome! They have two children who make everyone laugh around the base. Sokea helps with the DTS and Soccer ministry, while Srey Len manages the YDC library and helps with finances for the campus.

SK

His real name is Sokkuen, but SK will do. He’s as simple and groovy as his name. SK hosts outreach teams, coordinating outreaches with the local churches and our own ministries. His single ;)

Srey Toch

Srey Toch makes everything run! She is the backbone of our operations at the base, and does it with a smile. She’s never too tired for a whimsical moto ride to get a snack or take pictures.

Krissna

Krissna has been through many YWAM Training schools and has the wisdom that shows for it! She helps with both the SOMD and DTS, and translating for teams. She will quickly become your best friend as she helps you pick through cute clothes at the market.

Reth

Reth is the manager of Yutika (Anchor) Cafe. She is incredibly sweet, generous and caring. She is faithful, hardworking and can cook almost anything you could ask for. Her gentle way of leading is an irreplaceable benefit to our base and we love her for it. She speaks English, Thai, and Khmer… and loves playing Rummicub!

Saoly & Lida

Saoly and Lida lead our Soccer ministry and Family Night youth group! They are a power couple gifted in discipling unbelievers and introducing them to Christ.

Reaksmey

Meet Reaksmey! He is the worship director at our base, has been the foreman of our cafe building project and he has used his skills to complete many wonderful projects here. He is a hard worker and a faithful one too! Reaksmey is passionate about worship and teaches Guitar, Base, Electric Guitar, and Khmer worship songs. He is a kind, intentional friend who enjoys a good cup of coffee and going to the gym.

Josiah & Michaela Slabach

Josiah and Michaela led a Bible Distribution outreach to Pailin twice and fell in love with Pailin. They worked with the School of Biblical Studies in YWAM Montana, and have a wealth of wisdom and experience they bring to them team. And they’re FUN!
